Post grad life has been a roller coaster. Good and bad. I’ve learned so much within the past six months that I never would have learned while I was in school. One of the biggest and in my opinion, most important things I’ve learned thus far is how to handle change. And I’ll be honest, I’m still learning. All throughout high school and college I’ve never been one to like change. I’ve strayed away from it, always falling back to familiarity because it was comfortable. Post-grad life has forced me to be outside of my comfort zone in countless ways, and I had no choice but to learn how to roll with the punches.
But at the end of the day when I take a step back and look at everything that is happening, I can’t help but be grateful for all the opportunities that have crossed my path. So far I’ve bought a car, we’re getting a puppy, and I’m about to move to one of the most beautiful cities in the world with my boyfriend whom I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am to have. If change is what I have to face to accomplish and acquire these things in life that I’ve only ever dreamed of, well then bring it on. I’m ready for you, world.
